Cenote Santa Bárbara

Yucatán

4.8 (6115)

A few minutes outside Homún, Cenote Santa Bárbara brings together four cenotes on one property: Cascabel, Chacksikín, Xooch', and Pool Cocom. The standard route includes three of them, and you move between cenotes by bicycle or truck-like shuttle, which keeps the visit comfortable even under strong Yucatán heat. What really sets this place apart is Pool Cocom, which has an access elevator. That makes it one of the few cenote complexes in Yucatán where older adults, pregnant visitors, and people with reduced mobility can get down without struggling through steep stairs. There is also a splash pad for children, so the site works well for a full family outing. Life jackets are included and the lifeguards are certified. The complex opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Prices are not clearly published on the official site, so visitors should confirm them by WhatsApp or at the entrance. There are two main options: the cenote route itself, or a package that adds a Yucatecan meal at the on-site restaurant, with drinks and desserts charged separately. With more than 7,800 Google reviews and a 4.8 rating, this is one of the strongest names in the Homún circuit.
