Hacienda Kampepén

Hacienda Kampepén combines several layers in one visit: traces of an old henequen hacienda, a nature circuit a little over one kilometer long, two cenotes, and a cave with rock handprints. This is not a one-activity stop, but a route where the value comes from how history, landscape, and water are woven together. That makes it different from other places around Homún that focus almost entirely on the cenote itself. Here, the movement between points matters too, along with the feeling of passing through a place shaped by both natural setting and local history. If you enjoy walking and exploring rather than staying in one scene, Kampepén has more range than a stand-alone cenote.
